History
GeoFrontiers was founded from a legacy of outstanding services. In 1978, a Texas Instruments Incorporated laboratory began analyzing soil gas samples for petroleum exploration. We were part of Geophysical Services Inc. (GSI) and Halliburton Geophysical Services (HGS) before becoming an independent business in 1993.

Key Personnel
During nearly 30 years, GeoFrontiers’ technology was built by many hard-working people. That legacy of technical development continues today with our key personnel.
Dr. Gary Rice has been part of GeoFrontiers since its beginning. Dr. Rice has been involved in management, technical development, and business development of geochemical exploration for nearly 30 years. Dr. Rice continues to develop and publish new techniques to meet explorationists ’ needs.
Mr. Ryan Hanson has been with GeoFrontiers since 2004. Mr. Hanson is responsible for field operations and sample collection, including designing and building sampling equipment. Mr. Hanson's background in ranch operations helps GeoFrontiers conduct exploration programs with minimal landowner impact.
